What It Feels Like

The volcanic sand provides the physical exfoliation while the surrounding cream base helps the skin feel conditioned rather than simply scrubbed.
For the face, use a light touch. The same pressure that feels appropriate on an elbow is too aggressive for facial skin.

Physical exfoliation can produce an immediately smoother surface, but it isn’t a treatment for every type of discoloration, acne, or persistent skin condition.
How to Use
- Apply to dry or damp skin.
- Massage gently using small circular motions.
- Use lighter pressure on the face and more focused application on rough body areas.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Follow with moisturizer.
Use 1–2 times per week.
Avoid applying to broken, sunburned, irritated, or compromised skin.
What to Know Before You Buy
This is a physical exfoliator. The volcanic sand provides the exfoliating action rather than relying primarily on an exfoliating acid.
Gentle pressure is enough. Scrubbing harder does not produce better exfoliation and can leave skin feeling irritated.
Start once weekly if you’re new to physical exfoliation. Increase to twice weekly only if your skin remains comfortable.
Don’t pile on exfoliation. If you’re already using products such as Lactic 10% Overnight Refiner or other strong exfoliating treatments, avoid using them at the same time.
Face and body don’t need the same treatment intensity. Use a particularly light touch on facial skin and reserve more vigorous exfoliation for appropriate body areas.
