A large-looking package doesn’t necessarily contain more wax. Checking the net weight makes it easier to compare products and understand what you’re actually getting for your money.

Look for basic information about how many pieces to use, what type of warmer is appropriate, and when to replace the wax.
Safety warnings and proper labeling should be easy to find.
Buy From a Maker Who Knows Their Product
One of the biggest signs of quality is transparency.
A good wax melt maker should be able to tell you what wax they use, what type of fragrance they use, how the melts are made, and what you can expect from the product.
Beautiful packaging is nice.
A thoughtfully formulated product is better.
When you’re buying wax melts, look beyond the scent name and the pretty packaging. Wax, fragrance, weight, craftsmanship, and transparency are the things that matter once the melt actually goes into your warmer.
